Since 2015, Dennis has specialized in Kubernetes and Cloud Native technologies. His focus is on building future-proof infrastructures and sharing practical knowledge through training sessions and workshops.
Especially in large-scale projects in critical sectors such as finance and healthcare, he brings his expertise to the table. From analyzing and optimizing complex infrastructures to security audits and the migration of demanding legacy systems, Dennis ensures that platforms meet the highest standards for security, scalability, and availability. Building modern deployment pipelines and efficient processes is also part of his day-to-day work.
With many years of hands-on experience, Dennis ensures that the solutions developed are not only technically up to date but also deliver reliable results in production. This makes him one of the leading Cloud Native experts in the German-speaking region. Dominik Löwen
Dominik strengthens the CloudPirates crew as an experienced Cloud Engineer with a solid background in Computer Science (B.Sc. & M.Sc., Bielefeld University of Applied Sciences). Already during his time at university, he set his course firmly towards Cloud Native Solutions and gained valuable hands-on experience. Today, this experience forms the solid foundation of his daily work.
In day-to-day project operations, he plays a key role in building and optimizing modern applications based on the “Twelve-Factor App” principles, as well as implementing and continuously improving advanced GitOps pipelines. His particular focus lies on Day-2 Operations in future-proof and complex software and system landscapes. The continuous development and fine-tuning of observability solutions covering monitoring, logging, and tracing form the foundation for reliable, efficient, and proactive operations of the infrastructures under his care.
With Dominik on deck, you have a vigilant navigator on board who keeps a clear overview and ensures that your systems stay safely on course.

Yannick Sewing
After successfully completing his training as an IT specialist for application development, Yannick has become an integral part of our customer projects and internal software development. Step by step, he has taken on additional responsibilities in project management and actively contributes to training and mentoring our next generation of talent.
Together with our apprentices, Yannick continuously works on the development and maintenance of internal microservices while also contributing his expertise to external projects. In doing so, he connects day-to-day project work with our internal processes and helps turn the overarching company goals shaped by the ideas of our team and management into reality.
Through his diverse range of responsibilities, Yannick not only promotes interdisciplinary collaboration across the entire team but also strengthens the active involvement and contribution of every member of the CloudPirates crew.

Janis Hahn
From apprentice to an integral part of the CloudPirates crew: Janis successfully completed his training as an IT specialist for application development in 2026 and now takes on responsibility for the technical development of our software solutions.
His focus lies on full-stack development and the use of modern AI technologies. In particular, he works on the integration and operation of AI solutions and continuously develops our Open WebUI environment. Connecting AI models and applications via the Model Context Protocol (MCP) is also part of his responsibilities.
In addition to developing new features, Janis is responsible for the technical implementation and continuous development of our internal applications. He helps turn emerging technologies into practical solutions for everyday business needs. In his role, he combines his perspective as a developer with increasing responsibility for technical decisions and the continuous improvement of our development processes.
With Janis on board, we have a young navigator who combines modern software development with AI technologies and always keeps an eye on the next technical horizon.
